Mass Farms of Malvern, Iowa, strives to put together a package of high quality Angus seedstock and club calves that will help its customers be successful in the pasture, feedlot, and show ring. This operation is owned and operated by Nathan and Bill Mass. Nathan and his wife Sandy have two sons, Zachary and Brendan. They live eight miles northeast of Malvern. Bill and his wife Barb live three miles east of Silver City, Iowa. Mass Farms consists of 1000 acres of cropland and pasture. Corn, soybeans, and alfalfa are primarily grown on the crop ground with pastures located around both farmsteads. The herd consists of 70 head of registered Angus cows and 30 head of crossbred cows. The crossbred cows are either bred to club calf bulls or used for recipients in our embryo transfer program. The Angus cows are used in our Angus seedstock operation to produce breeding stock for our customers, as well as our own replacements. We are pleased to be a part of the Steele Land and Livestock sale which is held the last Saturday in March in Massena, Iowa. We have partnered with Steele Land and Livestock to sell our bulls and select heifers in order to provide the best quality seedstock available in one location and to provide the best service to our seedstock buyers. If you are in need of a top quality herd sire or replacement heifer, please contact us. For more information on this year's sale, please go to our Purebred Angus page. Our club calf sale is held in September at the farm northeast of Malvern. We have a private treaty bid-off starting at 1 p.m., selling steers and heifers that are sired by the top club calf bulls available. For more information, please go to our Club Calves page. Please contact us for your next winner.
